On Sept 29, 2009, Richard Eichenbaum was a panelist and instructor at the “New Jersey Collection Practice” Skills and Methods seminar at Seton Hall Law School in Newark. This seminar is part of the “continuing education” component of the Skills and Methods Course  given by New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education.  Among other things, Mr. Eichenbaum spoke about pre-suit claim analysis, pleading considerations, litigating collection cases and remedies available under New Jersey law to enforce and collect judgments.

On March 25, 2009, John E. Brigandi was admitted to practice in the state of New York.

On March 3, 2009, Joann Haddad lectured and fielded questions at Bergen County Community College along with Bergen County Court Officer Eric Fields on the topic of collection practice. The two hour session included a detailed discussion on the court process and how to collect on a judgment.

January 24 - Richard Eichenbaum is the co-author of the 2008 edition of “Collection Practice in New Jersey,” which is part of the Practical Skills Series published by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. In particular, Mr. Eichenbaum wrote the chapter on the Fair Debt Collection
Practices Act.
