Mr. Eichenbaum has been practicing law since 1983. He is admitted to practice in all courts of New Jersey and Florida, the United States District Court of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. Mr. Eichenbaum received his B.A. from Duke University and his law degree from Vanderbilt University. In July, 1996 Mr. Eichenbaum was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on its Special Civil Part Practice Committee. He is a past Chair of the Special Civil Part Practice Committee of the New Jersey Bar Association. During his term as Chair, Mr. Eichenbaum wrote a friend of the court brief on behalf of the New Jersey State Bar Association to help overturn a lower court ruling in a published pre-trial procedure case, R H Lytle Co. v Swing-Rite Door Co, Inc. Mr. Eichenbaum is co-author of the 2002, 2000, 1998, and 1996 editions of Collection Practice in New Jersey, a Practical Skills Series textbook published by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. Mr. Eichenbaum is a member of the American Bar Association and its Section of Law Practice Management, National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and the Commercial Law League of America.
Publications

Richard Eichenbaum is co-author of the 2008 edition of Collection Practice in New Jersey, part of the Practical Skills Series published by the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. In particular, Mr. Eichenbaum wrote the chapter on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Mr. Eichenbaum co-authored the 2005, 2002, 2000,1998 and 1996 editions of this volume.
Mr. Eichenbaum also wrote the materials on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act for the April, 2000 New Jersey State Conference on Collection Law course handbook published by Professional Education Systems, Inc. ("PESI").
