Harry Stylianou attended undergraduate school at Rutgers University where he graduated with a B.S. in Political Science in 1988. Thereafter, he attended California Western School of Law where he obtained his J.D., in an expedited time of two and ½ years, in 1992. During this time, he also attended law school classes at Rutgers University, Newark and completed a judicial internship with the Honorable John A. Conte, Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County.

Mr. Stylianou is admitted to practice law in the States of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, District of Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Third Judicial Department in the State of New York. Mr. Stylianou has been certified by the State of New Jersey, Administrative Office of the Courts, as a mediator.

Mr. Stylianou is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Bergen County Bar Association, National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, and the Debt Buyer’s Association to name a few.

Mr. Stylianou has lectured on topics including, but not limited to (1) the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act; (2) Post Judgment Collection Remedies; (3) Effective Pre- Placement Strategies; (4) Counterclaim Defense Strategies. Mr. Stylianou has also been a Judge/Panelist and assisted in evaluating and scoring law school students in trial competition.

From 1992 to 1993, Stylianou was the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Ralph A. Polito, Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County. Mr. Stylianou has been employed by the firm of Eichenbaum & Stylianou, LLC since 1993 and has been a Partner since 1997.

Mr. Stylianou assists in the day to day management of the firm. He is also significantly involved with all aspects of case management, litigation, and has substantial court experience. Mr. Stylianou has appeared in court for trials, settlement conference and to argue motions of all kind for the firm’s clients. In 2004. Mr. Stylianou received an award for Outstanding Trial Performance from Citibank.

Mr. Stylianou is very active in local politics and community service. He currently serves as a Councilman in his home town of Dumont, New Jersey. Mr. Stylianou successfully ran for re-election in November, 2006.
